Every year, the Fair kicks off opening day with The Cattle Drive Parade. Jackson and Ellee love parades, so we couldn't miss this one!

Ellee's first day of school, all by herself this time! She was so excited!
When we got there, Ellee hung her backpack on her hook and took off into the classroom. (I didn't even get a kiss or a hug goodbye).....I called her back however because I needed one!

Nana tried to take her potty and she REFUSED. According to her, the potty is "scawy!" So we had to teach her to go potty in the woods.

The kids were kept busy for at least a half an hour picking up pine cones.....hmmm....wonder how long we can trick them into doing things like this?

My little Kindergartner chose cherrioes and a bananna for breakfast his first day of school.
Jackson's first day of school was my first day as well, but luckily I was able to sneek away during lunch to see my little guy off!

Ellee's first day of school was a field trip to Gwendon Farms! My first day with students was the same day, so Ellee was lucky enough to have Auntie Erin with her! She got to plant a mum. (She said it's not for me, it's for her.)

Ellee's first day of Preschool and Jackson's first day of Kindergarten was September 2, 2010! They are growing up way too fast!
Ellee will be going to preschool in the morning 3 days a week. Jackson will be attending Kindergarten everyday in the afternoon and alternating Wednesday mornings. Hopefully I can keep their schedules and my alternating teaching days (Monday, Thursday and some Wednesdays) straight! My Calendar is VERY color coordinated!
Ellee was so excited to go to her school she knew exactly what was going on after watching her big brother do it for the past 2 years. She has been patiently waiting her turn!
Ellee is going to the same preschool Jackson went to and has the same teacher that Jackson did when he was in the 3 year old class. Many of the kids in her class are younger siblings of some of the kids that were with Jackson, so she already had met quite a few last year.
