100th Day of Kindergarten!

I absolutely LOVE Jackson's way of sounding out words and spelling. He had this assignment for homework. The last question asks, I chose these items because....Jackson's response: I like to spin pennies. I wasn't even sure what he was writing, but apparently he had a real reason for why he wanted to count out 100 pennies for his 100th day of Kindergarten!

Valentines and Art

Ellee was very excited to work on her Valentine's this year! She picked out Princess cards that even included a magnet. Here she is writing her "name" on each of the cards she was giving in Preschool.

Ellee's Valentine mouse she made in Preschool.
I love the whiskers and eyes!

Ellee's First Day of Preschool

Ellee's first day of Preschool and Jackson's first day of Kindergarten was September 2, 2010! They are growing up way too fast!

Ellee will be going to preschool in the morning 3 days a week. Jackson will be attending Kindergarten everyday in the afternoon and alternating Wednesday mornings. Hopefully I can keep their schedules and my alternating teaching days (Monday, Thursday and some Wednesdays) straight! My Calendar is VERY color coordinated!

Ellee was so excited to go to her school she knew exactly what was going on after watching her big brother do it for the past 2 years. She has been patiently waiting her turn!

Ellee is going to the same preschool Jackson went to and has the same teacher that Jackson did when he was in the 3 year old class. Many of the kids in her class are younger siblings of some of the kids that were with Jackson, so she already had met quite a few last year.

My cute preschooler!

Clifford Valentine Party

To start off our Valentine Celebration we needed decorations, so earlier in the week the kids did a painting heart symmetry project. I also asked each of them what love was and typed up their responses to glue on their hearts! Very interesting and cute responses!
We also made Clifford bags to hold all the Valentine's they each would be receiving!
There is a dog bone in Clifford's mouth with each of the student's name on it.

The kids had a blast and were so cute dressed up as Clifford!
Each of the Parents that volunteered had a group of 3 to 4 students. The Parents read a Clifford Book to their group, did a Clifford writing project, played a Reading Memory Game and helped all the little Cliffords get their "puppy chow" (cocoa puffs). This couldn't have happened without the help of my Parent Volunteers!

Cute Little Cliffords!
What a Great Day!

VIP....That's Jackson!

VIP Poster for School

Jackson was the Very Important Person at Preschool! He invited me, Daddy-0, Ellee & Rylee (our dog) to come into his class with him. I really enjoyed watching him lead calendar time and interact with his friends. I LOVE being on the Parent end! I am so Thankful that I am not missing out on days important to my kids!

Here he is writing his name on the white board.

Look who snuck in the back row.....She can't wait to go to Preschool next year!

You are a very special boy Jackson and a VIP!

I LOVE YOU!
