4 Pennies and a Card

My Family loves games and especially cards. While growing up we always played a card game called 4 pennies and a card with my Parents, Aunt, Cousins and Grandparents.
Each person gets 4 pennies and 1 card delt. The first person after the dealer starts and decides if they want to keep or trade their card with the person next to them. The highest card left at the end of the round has to pay a penny. Queens are the highest, Ace is the lowest and Kings are zero. Any person holding a zero doesn't have to trade, but everyone else does. The last person left with any pennies at the end wins. It is such a great learning game for the litlle ones. (Recognizing numbers and determining lower or higher numbers)
Jackson really started to understand the concept of the game this summer when we would play.
And the Tradition continues!
